HASA Objectives
- To act on behalf of its members to provide specific benefits to members in areas such as:
- To develop strategic strength of position of the hardware industry within the overall retail market
- To identify the common goals of its members and develop strategic plans to assist in the achievement of these goals by acting as its industry voice, through lobbying Government for legislative change and by promoting the overall development of the industry within the SA market
- Provide know-how and assistance in areas such as:
- Industrial Relations
- Link to Government and Statutory Authority
- OH&S
- Training
- Legislative Changes
- Conduct monthly Executive Committee meetings to keep up to date with all matters relevant to the industry
- Endeavour to ensure that all members of HASA are operating with due consideration to acceptable levels of ethics, morality and professionalism
- Encourage membership from all retailers and suppliers operating within the industry
- Participate as an active member of the Hardware Federation of Australia and support its function
- Promote the relevance and value of HASA to its members
- Conduct an annual awards presentation designed to acknowledge performance excellence by retailers, suppliers and staff operating within the industry
- Provide opportunities for all members to socially interact, thus enhancing relationships within the industry
- Publish and distribute a newsletter to all members on a quarterly basis, communicating any current matters relevant to the industry
