Our Charter

 

To seek and provide quality training opportunities for all our members so that we can continually try to up skill our industry.

 

Current Program

 

* In May 2008 HASA commenced a program entitled "Managing for Retail Success",

designed for Owners, Managers & Senior staff in your store. Some of the aims of the course are:

* To develop essential hardware specific retail skills & knowledge.

* Achieve a national qualification in Certificate IV in Retail Management.

 

* The course is run for 12 full days which will be spread over 15 months.

 

* We have worked very closely with TafeSA who are delivering the course to ensure it relates to our industry.

 

* Since commencement of the course we have altered the process slightly with the aim of getting mentors and coaches involved for each participant.

 

* This program is now a stepping stone to the Diploma of Retail Management enabling the successful candidate to be qualified as a Retail Executive. This also provides the opportunity for progression to degree status.
